Cancellation policy

At Etna Lava, we believe that the hiking experience begins with trust and peace of mind. For this reason, we do not require advance payment for most of our reservations. We know that life can hold unforeseen events, and we want you to be able to plan your trip without pressure.

For individual reservations: freedom and respect

If you book as an individual participant, you have complete freedom: you can cancel your reservation at any time at no cost. We ask only a small gesture in return: common sense. If for some reason you will not be able to participate, let us know as soon as possible. This will help us better organize our excursions and offer impeccable service to all our guests. We believe in karma: we treat every reservation with care, trusting that the same care will be reciprocated. Not showing up unannounced is a missed opportunity for everyone, but we trust in the fairness of those who choose to experience Etna with us.

For group reservations: a balance between organization and flexibility

For groups, which require more planning, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. In this case, our cancellation policy is simple and clear:

• Free cancellation up to 30 days before the scheduled date.
  Advance payment will be refunded in full.
• Cancellation beyond 30 days from the scheduled date:
  We will no longer be able to refund the deposit, as preparations for your experience will have already involved cost and effort on our part.
